Malelane, South Africa (SportsNetwork.com) - Branden Grace managed an even-par 72 in Saturdays third round and he saw his lead dip to one stroke at the Alfred Dunhill Championship. Grace, a four-time winner on the European Tour, ended 54 holes at 16-under-par 200. All four of his wins came in the 2012 season. Lucas Bjerregaard fired a 6-under 66, the low round of the day Saturday, and he jumped into second place at minus-15. Last weeks winner Danny Willett posted a 5-under 67 and he is alone in third place at 14-under-par 202. Francesco Molinari carded a 2-under 70, but he dipped into fourth place at minus-13. Andrew Johnson was one stroke back at 12-under 204 after carding a 68 on Saturday at Leopard Creek Country Club. Grace 3-putted for bogey on the second to trim his lead to three, but he followed with back-to-back birdies at three and four to push his advantage over Molinari back to five strokes. There were a pair of 2-stroke swings at six and seven. Graces tee shot at the sixth stopped near a tree and he could only punch into the rough. He failed to get up and down for par from there. Molinari, who was in the last group with Grace, made a 4-foot birdie putt to move within three. Molinari found sand with his tee shot at the par-3 seventh. He was unable to get up and down for par, and Grace rolled in a 13-footer for birdie to move his lead back to five. After three pars in a row, Grace spun his approach off the front of the green at the 11th. That led to his third bogey of the day. He got that stroke back with a kick-in birdie on the 14th. Grace faltered to another bogey at 17 to trim his lead over Bjerregaard to one. Grace got up and down for par from over the green at 18 to keep his lead. A couple of the easy holes I managed to make mistakes on, but Im in the position I want to be in and looking forward to tomorrow, Grace said. If you look at the positives, Im still in good form and I made a couple of nice putts on the front nine. Ive only had good experiences going into a final round and leading. Im looking forward to tomorrow and taking in those positive vibes. Bjerregaard played the front nine in even-par with two bogeys and two birdies. He began his move up the leaderboard with a birdie at the 10th. He jumped to minus-12 as he made eagle at the par-5 13th. The Dane ran off three consecutive birdies to close out his round and move within one of Graces lead. NOTES: In all four of Graces wins, he held the lead entering the final round ...
